A Mountain of Summer Washing

Amica's new Maxima line of washing machines means we can now quickly and effectively manage even large amounts of washing. 15 useful programmes and a range of handy functions mean that the appropriate settings can be selected for every type of washing, bringing the shine back to our clothes. At the same time the highest energy class A Plus means that electricity bills will remain unchanged.

The modern construction and optimum use made of the interior in washing machines of the Maxima line have made it possible to increase the drum capacity to 7 kg. This lets us simultaneously save time, money and the environment. A fact worth mentioning here is that a large capacity is useful not only for families with children, but also for people who travel a lot and wash large amounts at a time. Among the extraordinarily practical solutions, the EcoPlus function is of special note, as it enables water intake to be matched to the amount of dirt on clothes being washed. After selecting a given programme, the appliance indicates the optimum water level for that type of fabric. The user can modify the water level, e.g. lower it when washing clothes which are only slightly soiled. Thanks to the EcoPlus function the washing machine uses up to 10 litres of water less during one washing cycle.

"For me, though, by far the most practical innovation available on Maxima washing machines is the Fast Access Function,"– says Anna Nowak, Product Manager responsible for this appliance category in Amica. "Pressing the button enables the washing machine's door to open immediately while washing, which means that at any time we can add anything we've forgotten. I would also like to emphasise that users of this function are assured of absolute safety, since the door does not open when the water level is too high or the water temperature exceeds 60˚C."

Also worth noting is the 5-degree temperature regulation which allows the washing temperature to be suited exactly to the type of clothing and how dirty it is. At the same time, the appliance does not allow a temperature to be selected which will damage a given fabric, for example the maximum temperature for the wool programme is 40C.

Maxima washing machines have been fitted with specialised programmes, including three designed for children's clothes. The Autocleaning programme is especially useful, as it sterilises the inside of the washing machine with water at 95C, destroying bacteria and rinsing away leftover detergent.

Clear indicator lights, large convenient buttons and audio signals make using Maxima line washing machines a pure pleasure. Amica's efforts at ensuring user comfort were recognised during one of Europe's largest consumer surveys, at which Amica was awarded a golden statuette and the title of The Most Trusted Brand.
